Paris, -- Key executives from the telecommunication industry will convene at the upcoming WiMAX World Europe Conference & Expo, May 22-24, 2006, at the Austria Center Vienna, to discuss the next generation of mobile broadband, announced Trendsmedia. One of the opening day seminars, the Mobile Broadband Executive Summit, will be led by premier analyst sponsor, the Yankee Group. The conference website is www.wimaxworldeurope.com.

"The business case for mobile broadband networks based on WiMAX technologies will ultimately rest on the unique applications and services that service providers will be able to deliver to end users," said Berge Ayvazian, Chief Strategy Officer of Yankee Group and conference co-chair. "This executive seminar will explore the next generation of mobile broadband services and applications, with timelines of when and where attendees can expect to begin seeing initial rollouts, and the fundamental impact that these applications are likely to have on business and society."

Mr. Ayvezian continued, "This gathering of executives from different backgrounds to debate and discuss the most reliable and efficient mobile broadband applications of the future, is a must for anyone who has a stake in the future of mobile broadband and the telecommunications industry."

The Mobile Broadband Executive Summit is part of a comprehensive three day conference program at WiMAX World Europe, which includes a four track programme containing over 80 industry leaders and key network operators.

The pre-conference programme also includes two seminars which will address critical issues involved in WiMAX deployments. "This session aims to present how WiMAX works in a real world business model and will look in depth at the economics behind a WiMAX deployment, drawing on real world experiences of operators in different markets." said Caroline Gabriel, Conference Co-Chair and Research Director, Rethink Research. "Two major service providers will support the session and talk about their own experience and discuss with attendees."

The second seminar, entitled WiMAX World Performance Testbed Results, will provide the benchmarking real world test results of Point-to-Point WiMAX and pre-WiMAX equipment. This programme will be led by reknowned wireless broadband equipment testing firm, CWLab.
