Acquires Fixed Wireless Business From WindChannel Communications

airBand brings WiMAX-enabled
broadband solutions to the Southeast
Dallas, TX -- airBand Communications Inc., the largest fixed wireless
company for business customers in the United States, today announced
that it has acquired the fixed wireless business and all monitoring
contracts associated with enterprise-deployed Wi-Fi networks from
WindChannel Communications Inc. The transaction provides airBand with an
immediate presence in North Carolina’s major markets, including
Charlotte, Raleigh Durham and Greensboro.

IP, video, remote data protection, VPN and remote server applications.
