China Broadband Triple Play

March 26 - 27, 2008
Presidential Plaza Hotel
Beijing, China

The emerging segments of IPTV and triple play services hold the key to the future business development of broadband carriers worldwide. Triple play offers telcos the chance to open up new revenue streams, improve customer retention, boost competitiveness, increase ARPU and reduce leakage to mobile.

In China, triple play is gradually but surely developing as operators build out service platforms and engage with content partners. By the end of Q2 2007, China’s broadband IPTV subscriber base had expanded to 736,000 and is forecast to exceed 6 million by 2010.

The 5th annual China Broadband Triple Play Conference will once more bring together operators, technology suppliers, government officials and others. For service provider executives, it offers the chance to engage with industry professionals and thought leaders on key issues.

You will be joining more than 500 executives to discuss the business, technical, content and other critical issues. Led by eminent engineer and scholar Jiang Lintao, Chief Engineer, China Academy of Telecom Research of MII, the program will cover topics critical to the future of your business, including:

  • China and global market update for triple-play services

  • Regulatory overview and analysis

  • Profitable and sustainable triple-play business models and pricing strategies

  • Network infrastructure, service delivery architecture and technology trends

  • Advances in access networks: Next generation DSL, Fiber, Wireless broadband and other options

  • The major opportunity for service providers in managing home digital networks

  • IPTV content development and pricing

  • The Olympics and triple-play development

  • Customer care and service management in a multi-play environment

  • Triple play service integration, convergence and migration strategies

  • Quality of experience assurances for IPTV delivery

  • Home Networking standards evolution and consumer devices
