4G World
is the first industry conference and expo that effectively
covers the entire ecosystem of next generation mobile broadband
networks – those networks that support anywhere Internet access
and fully integrated mobile applications, services,
entertainment and transactions.
4G World showcases the first 4G mobile broadband networks being
launched in 2009 using technologies such as WiMAX as well
evolving 3G mobile networks that deliver access to the mobile
Internet using HSPA and LTE technologies.

The opening day of 4G World begins with a keynote presentation
on the role of wireless broadband in the Obama administration’s
plans for economic recovery and a wireless broadband policy
summit, co-hosted by the WCAI. It will also include special
summits on Backhaul and Femtocells/Micro Base Stations, as well
as WiMAX and LTE Technical Training and workshop on WiMAX
Business Planning, Network Design and Optimization.
WiMAX World lives at 4G World, with operator and vendor keynotes
and operator case studies on spectrum and regulatory strategies,
network deployment plans and marketing best practices. Keynote
presentations from industry leading 4G network operators will
examine the technical challenges of 4G network evolution and the
unique roles of mobile WiMAX, WiFi, HSPA and LTE technologies in
the 4G ecosystem. These 4G service providers will also present
their respective business and go-to-market strategies as they
redefine their business models around the open mobile Internet.
Senior executives representing the leading network technology
and solutions vendors will also present their views and
contributions to the 4G ecosystem during the 4G World and WiMAX
World plenary keynotes and roundtable sessions.
WiMAX World and 4G World technology track sessions are
thoughtfully designed to provide attendees with an in-depth
examination of the key innovations, enablers, challenges and
strategies for broadband and mobile network convergence. The
wide range of technology track sessions will feature expert
presentations, panel discussions and comparative assessments
related to network planning, backhaul design, optimization
techniques, billing and management software.
Mobile Internet World Lives at 4G World, focusing on the
business strategies that will drive operator and service
provider revenue growth. Just as the broadband technologies have
transformed the Internet into an always-on commercial worldwide
web, 4G mobile broadband technologies enable anywhere and
anytime mobile Internet access to rich media content, mobile
commerce, Web 2.0 applications and social networking from a wide

success, Mobile Internet World 2009 will include keynotes and
