WiLANTA is a comprehensive IEEE 802.11a/b/g standards specific, base band measurement and analysis tool for Tektronix Open Windows Oscilloscopes. WiLANTA is ideal for characterizing overall PHY layer performance of WLAN transmitters. WiLANTA is used for advanced measurement and analysis of overall PHY layer performance of WLAN Transmitters for 802.11 'a', 'b' and 'g'. Traditional WLAN chipset design involved three chips (PHY, MAC & RF) which have now been reduced to two with the integration of the Base band processor (PHY) and Media Access Controller (MAC) into a single chip.
