802.16 Access Point

The TR-5a series is one of Tranzeo’s newer generation of 5.8GHz product lines. Radios and systems described below are powered by a 13 dBm radio. These are integrated fully functioning radios, which means they can be configured as an Access Point, a Point -to-Point Bridge, or a Client Adapter (CPE).

The Tranzeo TR-5Plus Series is one of the newest additions to the Tranzeo Product line. The TR-5Plus Series of radios are based on the TR-5A series but boasts a non-amplified radio that has an output power of 23 dBm. Since there is no amplifier there is a lower cost and better performance in High Noise environments.

Tranzeo's NEW EN-1000 Series in 2.4GHz & 5.8 GHz. These units are based on the already successful 2.4 GHz TR-6600 and 5.8GHz TR-5Plus series platforms and have similar performance but with many new feature add-ons.

Units can be set up in the following modes: Router Mode; Router Mode with NAT; Bridge Mode.

The TR-6000 series of radio is Tranzeo's Point-to-Multipoint solution in the 2.4 GHz frequency that can also double as a client (CPE) radio.

With features like Dual-Ethernet ports for easy daisy chaining of up to 2 additional radios, Tunneling Protocol Support such as VPN, PPTP, Alignment / Status LEDs, Security, NAT Routing and more, this series can be configured to handle a multitude of situations and configurations that will suit your needs for getting high-speed broadband to your customers.

The TR-600 series are an  Indoor Commercial grade of products from Tranzeo Wireless.

Important note: The distance ranges referenced below for the various radios/ &radio/antenna systems, are conservatively stated. Actual performance results may exceed (or occasionally be less) depending on a variety of factors including but not restricted to: (a) line of sight issues; (b) Fresnel zone issues; (c) towers heights (d) noise floors; and: (e) spectrum issues such as interference.

TR-6000 23 dBm Female N-Connector 3 Years
Description:
Utilizing DSSS Technology, the TR-6000 Series can be configured in 3 modes: Access Point, Point-to-Point, and Client (CPE). Most common application is as an Access Point when used in conjunction with a variety of Omni, Sector or Directional antennas. (see "Antennas" - 2.4 GHz)
Distances of up to 5 miles+ can be achieved with high-gain antennas and high performance CPE's like the TR-CPQ-15 or TR-SL2-15. Utilizing a high-gain grid antenna, a point-to-point range of up to 5 miles+ can be achieved with actual throughput of up to 5 Mbps. With omni antennas, considerably shorter connectivity distances should be expected.
Unit supports operation in 5, 10 or 20 MHz wide channels. Requires separate cable - TR-LMR3N. All TR-6000 Series units may be "daisy-chained" to another radio.
TR-6600 23 dBm Female N-Connector 3 Years
Description:
This multi-function unit is most commonly utilized as a higher powered Access Point in conjunction with high-gain sector antennas where connectivity of up to 15 miles has been achieved; requires transmission to a high performance CPE like the TR-CPQ-19 and clean Line-of-Sight to achieve maximum distances.
In Point-to-Point applications incorporating a high performance grid antenna such as the TR-GD24-24, satisfactory connectivity of up to 12 miles can be achieved.
Does not
support multiple channel width configurations.
