Hazardous Duty Enclosure Air Conditioners

Models ranging from 2,200 - 20,000 BTUH

Designed for standard and pressured enclosure systems Class I, Division II, Groups B, C, and D for hazardous duty applications. Includes process control systems for chemical, petrochemical, refining, field and offshore drilling operations. Ice Qube hazardous duty air conditioners are specifically designed and factory built to insure product integrity, reliability, and safety. All hazardous duty air conditioners are third party certified by Entela.

Typically, manufacturers of enclosure cooling systems send their standard air conditioners to a certified third party to retrofit the air conditioner for hazardous duty applications. However, the companies that do the conversion may have to make changes that can affect the efficiency of the original unit. Often, components are substituted or added that may have an effect on the cooling capacity or useful life of the original system.

Also, if its not an Ice Qube Hazardous Duty Air Conditioner, you may want to ask the question: WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR REPAIRING THE UNIT SINCE THE ORIGINAL MANUFACTURER IS PROBABLY NOT CERTIFIED TO REPAIR A CONVERTED UNIT??
