The Elegant E Series
deliver sustained data rates in excess of 220MB/s on the 4-disk models
and over 500MB/s on the 8-disk models. Elegant E8 eSATA is “Smoking fast

The E Series is the first desktop disk array line with eSATA and the new
generation Multi-lane host connectivity capable of supporting both
Serial ATA I/II and Serial Attached SCSI drives offering a solid upgrade
path from high capacity SATA to high reliability SAS and allowing
multiple disk configuration and superior airflow results in a
ultra-quiet operation and more efficient use of energy. By combining the
latest I/O technologies and innovative product designs, E Series
delivers the industry’s lowest total cost of ownership in desktop
storage arrays and far exceeds a broad range of budget, capacity and
performance requirements for customers.
Available in 4 or 8-port configurations with built-in backplanes that
utilize the emergence of either Serial Attached SCSI or Serial ATA
3Gbp/s technologies, aluminum polished construction, individual HDD
drives key locks, LED indicators on the door and hot swappable
components, such as, fans & HDD trays, empower the E Series to be the
coolest storage subsystem on the market. Elegant E Series is the ideal

Elegant E Series is available immediately in E4 and E8 / Multi-lane and
eSATA models which have scalable storage capacity from 640GB up to 6.0TB
using the newest Seagate Barracuda 750GB SATA 3Gbp/s HDD in a compact
desktop tower form factor. This new Elegant E Series are available
directly from Enhance Technology or through a number of distributors and
resellers in the United States and around the world for a suggested
retail price from $345.
