Torrent WTS (WiMAX Test System) series
Mobile Metrics offers a suite of WiMAX test tools that, together,
form a nearly complete WiMAX testing solution. The Torrent 7100 WTS
and 7200 WTS combine to test all access and core network nodes (ASN
Gateway, BS, CSN) for traffic and conformance to NWG Specifications.
In addition, the 7200 exercises Base Stations with heavy application
traffic over real or simulated R1 interfaces.
The Torrent 7100
offers simulation, traffic and conformance testing of ASN Gateways
and CSNs.
The Torrent 7100 WTS (WiMAX Test System) is the world's first test
system for ASN gateways and CSNs and has been in the field since
September of 2006.
The Torrent 7200
offers
simulation, traffic and conformance testing of Base Stations.
The Torrent 7200 WTS (WiMAX Test System) is designed to
comprehensively test 802.16e base stations, and builds on the
foundation established by the Torrent 7100 which was the world's
first system for testing ASN gateways and CSNs. It provides an
entire WiMAX ecosystem which surrounds the base station and can then
be used to perform functional testing, load, capacity, and
performance testing. Although an entire WiMAX ecosystem is provided,
components can be swapped out for commercial counterparts if
desired; for example although we supply an ASN gateway, you could
use your own, but then still user our CSN.
The Torrent 7200 is based on scalable-OFDMA and is available in two
general varients; one which actually tests the airlink and one which
bypasses it entirely for cases in which MAC rather than MAC/PHY
testing is of interest. |
