The Orthogon Systems OS-Spectra
58200 Product Release is available for your existing OS-Spectra
customers to download from our website by
clicking here. This free upgrade offers your customers
many new features to improve the overall performance of their
OS-Spectra links to include the following:
- Activation of wayside dual
T1/E1 interfaces
- Increased number of modulation
modes including 256 QAM top rate mode
- 802.1P Ethernet prioritization
support
- New adaptive TDD scheme
permitting IP and TDM modes to meet 300 Mbps top rate mode
- UK IR 2007 certification –
expected mid November

| In addition, the 58200 will
deliver a new price point/bandwidth driven offering, the
OS-Spectra Lite. This 150 Mbps solution includes all the features
of the OS-Spectra 300 but at half the data rate and will support a
single T1/E1 port. At $15,995 MSRP, OS-Spectra Lite allows us to
offer our customers a more cost-effective solution while locking
in the reliability our customers require for managing demanding
point-to-point and backhaul connections.
We anticipate the OS-Spectra Lite
load to be available and shipping November 1, 2005. We will be
launching our official product announcement for the OS-Spectra
Lite at this week’s WiMAX
World Show in Boston.
