RedMAX™ products designed for the 3.3 – 3.5 GHz frequency band set for commercial launch in Q1 2007

Hong Kong and Toronto -- Redline Communications, a leading provider of standards-based wireless broadband equipment, today launched its RedMAX™ WiMAX products for the 3.3 – 3.5 GHz frequency band at ITU Telecom World 2006 in Hong Kong. The introduction of the 3.3 – 3.5 GHz RedMAX products enables operators across the Asia Pacific region to access Redline’s proven WiMAX solutions to deliver the broadband services their customers need today.

The 3.3 – 3.5 GHz RedMAX products are now being deployed by several operators in India and Vietnam and will be commercially available in the first quarter of 2007. The new RedMAX products join Redline’s complete WiMAX Forum Certified™ systems that are being trialed and deployed by more than 75 operators in 39 countries. The new RedMAX products will include the AN-100U base station, SU-I indoor subscriber unit and SU-O outdoor subscriber unit.

Redline is featuring its RedMAX family of WiMAX solutions as well as its RedCONNEX™ broadband wireless infrastructure products at its booth (#11032) in Hall 11 of the ITU Telecom World 2006.

“The first deployments of Redline’s 3.3-3.5 GHz products in India, Indonesia and Vietnam have demonstrated the potential of RedMAX products to deliver the high-bandwidth services that people and business in the Asia-Pacific region need,” said Kevin Suitor, Vice President, Marketing and Business Development, Redline Communications. “As evidenced by the host of new and innovative telecommunication solutions being showcased at ITU Telecom World, businesses and individuals in the region are among the world leaders in the adoption of new communications services and technologies. We anticipate that WiMAX could become a preferred technology for many across the region.”

Redline’s RedMAX™ Family
Redline’s RedMAX family of WiMAX solutions is the world’s first complete system to receive the WiMAX Forum Certified™ mark for conformance to the WiMAX standards for performance and interoperability. Redline’s carrier-class RedMAX Base Station (AN-100U) supports voice, video, and prioritized data traffic,

enabling long-range, high-capacity wireless broadband networks. Redline’s WiMAX products also include the RedMAX Indoor Subscriber Unit (SU-I) and Outdoor Subscriber Unit (SU-O) designed for enterprise and residential services.

The RedMAX Management Suite enables operators to monitor and control the network, ensuring high service availability. Redline is maintaining its WiMAX leadership with the expansion of its RedMAX family to include products for additional frequency bands, applications and standards.

Redline’s WiMAX Leadership
Redline is the first in the world to receive WiMAX Forum Certification™ for a complete WiMAX system, and its RedMAX family of products have been deployed by carriers and other major operators throughout the world.
