    Yes, the Frequency offset information can be saved in a .txt format.
     
  5. Can I view MAC information with the WiLANTA LVSA11bg?
    Yes you can view all the MAC Frame fields mentioned in the standard
     
  6. Can I load signal files for analysis?
    Yes you can load signal files for analysis. The file formats are: .txt, .rtf and .bin files. You can download the complete .bin directory i.e. a collection of .bin files.
     
  7. I am looking for test setup scenarios to test - PCMCIA cards, 802.11 embedded devices in handsets, PDAs, laptops etc. is it possible to test these devices with your test suite?
    Yes it is possible to test 802 .11 PCMCIA cards and laptops with WiLANTA LVSA11bg.

    Set up to test PCMCIA cards or laptops: The Device under test i.e., the PC card or Laptop must be configured to transmit to a similar device or the two devices must be configured to communicate with each other. In this scenario WiLANTA LVSA11bg should be configured as a Sniffer with the same parameters as the device under test to capture the signals transmitted by the device under test. With this captured information you can perform online analysis on PC cards or you can save the information for offline analysis.

    The set up to test the PC cards is shown below where PC card 1 communicates with PC card 2 and WiLANTA LVSA11bg acts as a sniffer.

    IP code is technology Independent. It can be targeted to any FPGA or ASIC, according to customer requirements it can also be ported as technology dependent to gain performance and speed.

    No you don’t need Labview to run our WiPAN Suite or WiLANTA suite of products. Only the runtime engine is required which will automatically get installed during the product installation process.
     
  2. I already have the required hardware, I need only the software. What should I do?
    If you already have the required hardware you can purchase the software from SeaSolve Software Inc., (for pricing details and to download trial versions please visit our web store)
     
  3. Will the software work with other hardware?
    No the software works with NI PXI 5660 RFSA and NI PXI 5670 RFSG devices only from National Instruments.
